Bianca is a director and video editor specializing in short documentaries. Originally from Germany and now based in Barcelona, she brings a background in video journalism and ethnology, as well as a passion for authentic characters and powerful storytelling.

Amber Gray

Amber Gray

Director & visual artist · New York

Amber Gray is a New York City-based film director, writer, and visual artist known for her richly stylized, cinematic storytelling. After building a successful career as a fashion photographer, she transitioned into directing, bringing a distinctive eye for imagery, set design, and visual world-building to her work. Gray has collaborated with artists and brands including Beyoncé, Selena Gomez, Grimes, Penélope Cruz, Shiseido, and Sony, and has directed award-winning fashion films, music videos, commercials, and narrative projects. Through her production company, Andromeda Pictures, she creates visually immersive work that blends fantasy, beauty, and emotion with a bold, contemporary aesthetic.

José Ignacio Chica

José Ignacio Chica

Cinematographer & director

José Ignacio Chica is a cinematographer and director with a deep sensitivity for images and cinematic storytelling. His work is built upon emotion, atmosphere, and a constant search for stories that connect with the human experience. He trained at the National Film School of Colombia (ENACC) and the International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV) in Cuba, two institutions that shaped his vision of cinema from both a technical and poetic perspective. With over 15 years of experience, he has worked in fiction, documentaries, advertising, music videos, and television, developing a career that bridges Europe and the Americas. His perspective is born from the intersection of cultures and territories, building a way of seeing the world where images do not just tell stories, but feel them.

A small team keeps Rêverie running, from the first submission to the night the lights go down in Barcelona.

Giada is a writer, media researcher, and cultural organizer whose work focuses on storytelling, film, and community-driven projects. With experience in screenwriting, short film production, and nonprofit coordination, she founded Rêverie to create a platform for emerging filmmakers exploring memory in all its forms.

Siyoo Zhu

Siyoo Zhu

Communications & Outreach Assistant

Siyoo Zhu is a young filmmaker and screenwriter from China, and will soon begin her MA in Global Media Industries at King's College London. Her work explores memory, childhood, and human connection through intimate, character-driven stories. Her films have been recognised at several international film festivals, including the Moscow International Children's Film Festival and other festivals across Europe. She believes cinema is a way of connecting people across cultures through shared stories and emotions.

Erwan

Erwan

Website & Technology

Erwan is the one behind the keyboard. A developer by trade, he built and quietly keeps the festival's corner of the internet running, turning Rêverie's ideas, films, and late-night messages into the pages you're reading right now. He handles the pixels so everyone else can handle the cinema.
