§ 01 — The honours

Two awards — one chosen by the jury, one by the room.

01 Selected by the jury

Jury Award

The festival’s headline honour, given to the finalist that the jury of filmmakers, artists, critics, and academics judges the strongest film in the programme.

02 Decided by the room

Audience Award

Voted live on the night by everyone in the room at La Tèxtil — the short that stays with the audience long after the lights come up.

§ 02 — The night

A night in Barcelona

Finalist films screen at La Tèxtil, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers, networking, and drinks. The audience helps decide one of the festival's two awards.

  1. 01Finalist screening

The selected shorts play on the big screen at La Tèxtil — many for the first time before an audience.

  2. 02Q&A with filmmakers

Finalists take the stage to talk about the memories behind their films.

  3. 03Networking

A room full of emerging directors, artists, and festival friends.

  4. 04Drinks afterward

The night closes with a toast — and the announcement of the two awards.
